Pilars Loft at Pilars Martini is proud to announce that Michael Andrew and Swingerhead will bring their “big band," swanky, singin’, high energy style that they’re famous for to Pilars. Influenced by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, and other iconic performers from the jazz age, Andrew croons as the band swings, bringing new life to great standards from the American Songbook from composers including Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Sammy Cahn, George and Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Rodgers and Hart, and Harold Arlen.

General Admission Tickets are $25..  Artist Circle Supporters -  Tickets $50 for Patron Sponsorship to support Live Music.  Artist Circle ticket holders have early arrival reserved premium seating until show time as a thank you for supporting live music at Pilars.  Show is from 8-11p with regular set breaks.  Doors open one hour before show for Dinner, Apps & Drinks, and Artist Circle Ticket holders.   Fees include Florida Sales Tax and online ticket fees.  Tickets can only be purchased online.  

ABOUT PILARS LOFT AT PILARS MARTINI:  Pilars Martini opened in Janurary 2013 and Pilars Loft, the newest Jazz Club & Music Venue in downtown Winter Garden, Florida, is celebrating 10-years of great Martinis, Music, Mixology and more.  Pilars Janurary concert events includes Michael Andrew and Swingerhead in its 10-year Celebration of  events. Launched in September 2020 when many clubs were shuttered and muscians fourloughed, Pilars responded by expanding upstairs to a larger venue and bringing back live music and supporting local talent when many venues were dark.  Now Pilars Loft is open weekly Thursday - Sundays and for special concert events n an inspiring space where local and visiting artist talent rise.   Now is the perfect time to celebrate the successful launch of Central Florida's premier Club for Jazz & Music, Drinks by Pilars Martini, Dinner by Market to Table and a date night for YOU.   

More about  MICHAEL ANDREW

For 2 years, Michael Andrew was the headline singer and bandleader at the world famous Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center in New York City where he entertained audiences nightly and hosted a live Radio Broadcast, “LIVE FROM THE RAINBOW ROOM.” He was the band-leader and singer at Merv Griffin’s “Coconut Club” in The Beverly Hilton in California. While on “Larry King Live,” Merv called Michael Andrew “one of the great singers of all time.”

A frequent symphonic pops guest artist, Michael Andrew has appeared with symphonic orchestras in Akron, Albuquerque, Birmingham, Boston, Charlotte, Houston, Jacksonville, Long Beach, Missoula, Orlando, Pasadena, Philadelphia, Providence, Palm Beach, Palm Springs, San Antonio, Sarasota, and other cities across America.

His self-written musical comedy, MICKEY SWINGERHEAD & THE EARTHGIRLS was a hit with audiences and the press.  The hit show led to the formation of his band, SWINGERHEAD, which remains a favorite among audiences and has toured extensively throughout the country.

Michael also formed the THE ATOMIC BIG BAND, an 18-piece band that has performed in Hollywood for the premier of the Warner Bros. movie, POSEIDON, and his bands continue to play engagements from Presidential Inaugural Balls to high society fundraisers.

Andrew has played a singer in the movies “Heartbreakers” and “Bobby Jones, Stroke of Genius” and produced music for several films including “Inglorious Basterds,” “Mad Hot Ballroom,” “The Five People You Meet in Heaven,” and German released films, “13 Minutes” and “Rico, Oskar und die Tieferschatten.”  

He's performed in musicals and comedies in Regional Theatre from Shakespeare to Cole Porter.  On the other side of the curtain, as a composer, lyricist and book writer, he's created shows paying tribute to the writers of the "American Songbook" including Johnny Mercer, Sammy Cahn, and the Gershwins.  He’s written and produced the music for his new children’s musical (based on Jack and the Beanstalk) and produced music for several stage musicals including Mitch Album’s “Hockey,” and the new children’s musical “Interstellar Cinderella.” 

Michael Andrew starred in the world premiere of the new musical, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR written by Marvin Hamlisch and Rupert Holmes, directed by Jerry Lewis.
